Azotic^® was formed to introduce sustainable biofertilizer options around the world, with a global office in York, UK. Azotic has taken more than 20 years of academic research to become a global leader in N-fixing technology. We are focused on the development of technology which supports on-farm profitability and sustainability.

Azotic's flagship technology is a unique, patented strain of Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus (Gd), a nitrogen-fixing bacteria capable of converting atmospheric nitrogen into a usable form for multiple crop species.

Our UK product Encera™ is the only nitrogen-fixing biological currently on the market to fix nitrogen inside the cell. Our technology works throughout the foliage and roots providing nitrogen directly where the plant needs it, inside the plant cell. 

Encera is an exciting new way to manage nitrogen regimes that gives flexibility, with the potential for either increasing yield under conventional nitrogen programmes or replacing 15-25% of the nitrogen regime (often alongside an additional yield benefit).
