Ken Mills Engineering’s Bale Breaker is designed to break down large field bales, which are quickly baled to beat the weather. This example feeds the broken bales into a John Deere conventional baler or the KME baler. This process takes large, weather-sensitive bales of hay or haylage, breaks them apart, and rebales them into small, manageable conventional bales of hay or small bags of haylage.

Why Farmers Need It:

  1. Maximises Efficiency: Large field bales are processed quickly, allowing you to get your hay safely stored before bad weather hits.
  2. Improves Handling: Breaks large bales into smaller, easy-to-handle bales or bags, perfect for small farms, horse owners, or retail.
  3. Reduces Waste: By rebaling into smaller units, you ensure no feed is wasted, and the quality is preserved.
  4. Versatile: The system works for both hay and haylage, offering flexibility depending on the crop and market demand.

This solution is ideal for farmers who need to repackage hay quickly and efficiently while keeping quality high.
