Creating cost-effective and environmentally friendly solutions

Recently, we were approached by the team at Tuckwells to help solve an issue they were experiencing. Tuckwells operate in the agricultural sector, and they had, for many years, sourcing and buying their oil in plastic drums.These drums are problematic, for a number of reasons: They are not easy to recycle.They are an expensive solution. Getting the oil out of the drums and into their machinery is time consuming. It’s hard to remove every drop of oil.
So, after speaking to them team, we developed a solution to banish all of these issues. We fitted a 230V gear pump, with a dispensing speed of 12 litres per minute, and mounted it on the IBC bracket that would hook over a 1,000 litre IBC container. In addition, we created a solution that meant it was incredibly easy to move the unit from IBC to IBC.
We also incorporated a suction hose with a quick release adaptor and a delivery hose that has a digital hose end oil meter which offers accuracy of +/-0/5%, so Tuckwells have complete control over how much oil they have added to their machinery. The solution is ideal for filling engines, gearboxes and differentials with zero spill and zero mess. If we can be so bold, the whole solution is clean, economic, environmentally friendly and accurate.
