COPELY DEVELOPMENTS TO UNVEIL INNOVATIVE, NEW TRACE HEAT SOLUTION AT LAMMA 2025.

Copely Developments are set to introduce the Intra-Therm Hose to the agricultural industry at LAMMA 2025, the UK’s premier agricultural machinery and technology show, taking place 15th-16th January at the NEC, Birmingham.

Intra-Therm Hose is unique in placing the trace heat element within the infrastructure of a hose, close to the media and within its insulated ecosystem.

Common UK practice places the trace heating cable on the exterior of the hose as a secondary operation and entity. This practice requires the trace heating to run in parallel but to reach the temperature sensitive media, the heat must pass through the hose itself which is an insulating material.   Copely Developments looked to change that and bring the two together with one cohesive solution.

Intra-Therm Hose successfully integrates heat tracing within the hose and promises a ready-to-go solution saving labour, time and money when it comes to installation.  The design of the Intra-Therm Hose and inserting the heat tracing within it makes for even heat distribution and significantly cuts energy costs.

In today’s demanding market places for energy efficiency and cost effective solutions, Intra-Therm has been developed to meet the requirement of cost savings and reduction in carbon emissions. As I ask you, “Do you have your radiators on the exterior of your house?”

Copely Developments

Copely Developments, the UK’s most innovative developer of extruding tube and hose solutions has partnered with Solco Pyroelec, the Seoul based world leader in heat trace manufacturing to bring Intra-Therm Hose to the UK market.

Key Intra-Therm Hose Statistics:

  • Hose supplied with heat cable pre-installed.
  • Low wattage cable significantly reducing operating costs.
  • Development tests maintained flowing water when exposed to -20°C.
  • Available in PVC hose, WRAS approved hose and anti-microbial WRAS approved hose.
  • Can be retro fitted.

Intra-Therm Hose has been initially developed for the chemical dosing systems in the water treatment industry but offers unique benefits to many other markets. LAMMA 2025 will mark the first public introduction to the new technology and the partnership between Copely Developments and Solco Pyroelec.

Experts, including Martyn Fisher who has led the project, will be available on an updated, sustainable Quadrant2Design exhibition stand throughout LAMMA to offer advice on the applications and specification of this exciting new development in trace heating solutions.
