LAMMA 2022 will be ‘worth the wait’
The LAMMA Show returns to the halls of Birmingham NEC on May 4 and 5 for its long-awaited 40th anniversary event. More than 600 exhibitors and tens of thousands of leading farmers from across all sectors and regions are expected to visit over the two days.
Originally planned for January, the show was postponed amid concerns over the Omicron variant of Covid-19. However, with all restrictions now lifted, LAMMA 2022 is going ahead unhindered allowing the agricultural industry to reconnect after a difficult couple of years.

The Classics Zone will take visitors on a brief history of agricultural machinery with its fascinating line-up of vintage tractors and implements. Conversely the Farming 4.0 trail will highlight cutting edge innovations being introduced across the industry including smart tech for livestock, big data and AI. Follow the trail to see technology in action and learn how it is helping agriculture towards its Net Zero goal. The Farm Safety Zone programme includes updates on legislation and technology that help businesses ensure they are in-line. Greg Hopkinson from BASIS will discuss the importance of being proactive with farm safety and Stephanie Berkley of Farm Safety Foundation will outline the work it is doing to put safety first and foremost.
