Standen showcase their SR200 Planter as well as specialist machinery from Ferrari, Forigo, MOM, HOAF and Ortomec

Available to view on stand 8-9 230 at this year's LAMMA is the Standen SR200 planter, an easy to set-up, two row, accurate cup potato planter. It includes a revolutionary new cup design that is capable of handling longer and larger seed.
The Standen SR 200 Planter offers a high work rate, achieving fast forward speeds of up to 10km/h. The updated in-cab touch screen controls operate the hydraulic space selector to give high levels of control over seed spacing and ensure accurate planting. The new stainless steel hood design with automatic hydraulic pressure adjustment forms perfect ridges even at high forward speeds.
As well as the SR200 planter we have a wide range of products from our Standen Imports division.
From Ferrari Growtech we have the Futura Automatic Planter and the Remoweed Inter row and plant hoe.
The Futura Planter can work with vegetables stored in trays of different sizes and materials and only requires one operator to feed the transplanter robots with trays. The machine can be adapted to the tray selected by the user so there is no need to use a specific tray to run FUTURA; this is one of the features that makes the Ferrari automated planter a very innovative machine.
Ferrari Remoweed can remove weeds both between the rows and between the plants on the same row. The machine can scan and remove the weeds found along the width of its frame while moving forward and this can be completed in one single pass, reducing labour costs and chemical usage.
A range of Forigo machinery will also be on display. As well as rotary tillers, stone buriers, bedformers, and flail mowers we will have a RTB Rotary Spader. This is an effective machine for cultivation and also heavy crop residue incorporation.
From Ortomec we have the Lattuga 9000 tracked whole head harvester. This self propelled machine is ideal for cutting a variety of whole head lettuces and operates with an oscillating single cutting blade with hydraulic movement and cutting height is controlled via electronic sensors.
From HOAF we have a haulm burner, designed to destroy haulm without chemicals.
New to our Standen Imports business is a MOM Strip Hawk Telescopic Strip Till with liquid kit and separate unit. Strip Hawk Striup Till concentrates the ploughing, weeding, fertilization and harrowing operations in a single pass. The soil between the strips is not worked and remains covered by crop residue benefitting the soil structure.
